Als unsere zweite Tochter noch sehr jung war, hörte sie einmal die Zeile in einem Kirchenlied: „Send the fire! Send the fire! Send it we implore thee. Fill us with the Holy Ghost as we bow before thee.“ Die Anfangsworte „Send the fire!“ erschreckten sie, und in der wörtlichen Vorstellung des schlimmsten Falls zog sie am Rock ihrer Mutter und sagte: „Meinten sie das wirklich, Mama? Meinten sie das wirklich?“
